Excursions of the Course "Impara l'ITALIAno cucinando" (Learn Italian while Cooking)

Excursions included in the price of the Course

Mercato Centrale (main market) of meat, fish and vegetables.
Buying at the market stimulates your creativity for the preparation of so many ingredients. People who love to cook are usually excited about so much variety, about the thought of how to prepare those lovely eggplants or the piece of veal that would be wasted by cutting it up to make ossobuco, better to use it with those fragrant aromatic herbs over by the salad stand….
Cooking fans are surely increasing because the Mercato Centrale of San Lorenzo has become a photographic destination for many tourists.
Even if we will go to buy the necessary ingredients for cooking we will definitely stop at Nerbone, the refreshments stand inside the Mercato, to try the specialities of our simple dishes, like the panino al lampredotto (tripe sandwich) that with a good glass of Chianti is the ideal combination of a true Florentine.

Culture
Guided tours discovering the lesser known side of Florence, with its corners filled with history and tradition.
In the artisan shops we will see their creations that are appreciated all over the world.

Carriage
Like in every major city, sightseeing is done on a double-decker open bus. Since we love tradition we will do the tour of the city on a horse drawn carriage whilst the “fiacchere” (or carriage driver) will be our guide, telling us the history of the monuments that we  will see and visit.
